I use the counter model and it does a great job cleaning and providing clear water. It does take much space either which is great for a counter model. I've used this unit for several years but it had developed a leak.

Certainly delivers on greatly improved water quality. The smell and terrible taste is gone and I don't have to clean my coffee pot every day. A bit unsightly with the tubing so I will eventually upgrade to the under counter model. No need to look elsewhere as I know that extremely pure water will make you sick.
