The Aquasana counter top unit fits my needs perfectly and he water tastes great! I'm saving about $700 a year over a water delivery service. Although comparing the two are like apples and oranges, I like saving money.
We had been using pure and Britta filters forever and it was getting pricey and they always broke down. We drink a lot of water and having it filtered was really important to us. This was the perfect purchase for us! We are very happy with it!
Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Slim Design
I have had a friend/roommate with one of these for over a decade and have moved to several rental properties with him over the years. Never had an issue and we have unlimited clean water...saves us so much money on bottled water!
(I am not sure that the questions asked are for the countertop water filter). The countertop water filter is a great addition to the kitchen. I can now enjoy chlorine free water from the tap. I tested the chlorine content filtered and unfiltered. The unfiltered water in Vancouver is pretty good, in my area it tested .02 ppm. However, the filtered water tested 0. I am happy that I am now drinking chlorine free water.
Pros: Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Slim Design
Since my purchase I found that I'm having fewer incidences of hives. Apparently there is something in the local water that my body rejects. If you've ever had hives you know how miserable they make you. I'm so glad to have a wonderful solution. I did a lot of research before deciding on aquasana. I tried Britta but it did not help. Aquasana is the only countertop filter I found that takes out lead and heavy nearly as well as VOCs. Called my best friend and another friend and recommended they buy one too.
Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Impact Resistant, Slim Design
Better than purchasing bottled water. I'm glad I purchased.

I used this at home for drinking and cooking water, and for my two 4-legged girls. Like the convenience. Put mine on a little shelf above the faucet due to limited counter space.
