Although it is slow to fill cooking pots, it stills provides filtered water as expected. I have had other countertop filtration systems that were the same way but that cannot be helped with these types of systems. The quality and taste were better than other systems I have used. But it is excellent for apartments where a whole house or under sink system will not be practical.

Takes up counter space , so in our small kitchen, it's prime real estate. Also, flow is pretty slow. GREAT tasting water- I highly recommend aquasauna as a good quality brand.

I researched online for a water filter. The water where I live is very hard. Aquasana was the best out of all the companies I researched. The prices were great. I purchased a filter for my shower and love it. My hair is in better condition and my skin isn't dry like before. I recently bought the kitchen counter filter. I love it. Great water and it looks great. The flow is a little slower than I would like but it's worth it.

I originally purchased this to provide my small hydroponic herb and vegetable garden with chlorine free water, but use it now for all drinking water for people and plants. Other reviews said the flow is extremely slow, but I find it quite usable, slower than straight tap of course, but quicker than a pur filter. It was extremely easy to install, much pricier than pur or brita, but filters much more out of the water. Now unfiltered water tastes like chlorine to me...something that makes sense, but I never really noticed before tasting the pure water. I am giving it four instead of five stars mainly based on the price point of the filters and system, not on the performance of the filter.
