Was expecting after taste--i live in a city close to chicago-and we receive our water from lake michigan--the water leaves such a bad after taste--but when i installed the new filter-i was pleasantly suprised at the smooth taste of the water-i have been a Fiji drinker for years-but have found a very worthy replacement in Aquasana--i just wish that they could devise a system that would increase the ph balance--but for now--im a true believer in Aquasana...

The water filter itself is the main feature although the change to how the filter is turned on and off is an exceptional improvement. A slight pull and turn the water on, it works. Turn the water off and the filter disengages. The old version required you to turn a very small handle for both On and Off. The new on/off pull tab... Absolutely Exceptional. The filtration is, as always, a great feature too! Thank you for the improvement...!
