A countertop filter has been installed in my kitchen for several years and we're now on our second one. The first lasted 7+ years before finally developing a leak. The filtered water tastes so much better than unfiltered; and it gives peace of mind knowing the arsenic and other bad stuff is being filtered out. Any water that goes in our mouths and in/on our food gets filtered. I opted for a filtration system to replace all those plastic bottles we were using and because of the reported high level of contaminants in our tap water. Aquasana was rated best in countertop filters; and, as it turned out, it was the least expensive. The one downside is the tubing: aesthetically, it's not particularly pleasing and it should be a little longer. But, that doesn't detract from the convenience and high performance.

I move to a small city(pop.1800)In rural MN. surrounded by sugar beet farms and other ag. I live in downtown. MY water smelled like burnt matches and had bad taste to it and was cloudy when first out of the tap. thinking it had a lot of ag pollution in it. I in stalled my counter top filter.it was easy and simple. it takes longer than what's in the directions for the taste of the filter to runn out of it when you first set it up. it took a few days of use for me. It dos a great job getting all crud out of my water. No Oder of any kind or cloudiness. or bad taste. The more water pressure you have the better your capacity will be.

Great filter, water is clean and tastes good, not bulky, my problem is my well water has heavy calcium in it and the filter was full after 3 weeks, so I will take this opportunity to cancel my membership to renew after six months. It is not because of any problem with the product except it just doesn't last long enough for my situation. Thank You.
