Water for Life??? This hasn't worked for years!

We have had this system for years. I originally signed up for the automatic delivery of the filters (Water for Life). About three years ago this totally stopped. When I called to order a new filter (that was over 9 months old) I all of a sudden received two orders, one for the phone call and one for the auto ship. Just a heads up for anyone enrolling in this program.
Pros: Good Water Flow
Cons: Difficult to install

Unfortunately the countertop system didn’t fit on my faucet. It said it would fit any faucet but when you get the user manual it says it doesn’t work for pull out nozzles, so I returned it. Giving 3 stars based just on that fact, not on whether or not it filters well.

I first bought the countertop filter because the plumbing system is very old with lead pipes and I was concerned about contaminates leaching into the water. After 6 months using the filter, I bought the replacement filters and compared them. The used filters were very gray with contaminates in contrast to the new filters which are bright blue and white. What more can be said? No more contaminates in drinking/cooking water.
Definite five stars for the countertop filter.

The countertop filtering system came with filters already installed and so I don't know yet how easy or not they will be to replace. The water is tasting good. I had trouble hooking it up to the faucet. Just when I was about to give up, it twisted on. I was happy because I didn't want to be without this system.

The installation was simple and the water taste great. My only suggestion is to put an arm that comes off the unit and not off the sink spigot. That way I can fill my water bottle.

the water is excellent the flow rate needs to be increased. It takes half a minute to fill a small cup that normally fills in five seconds
