The water has a weird after taste to such an extent that I'm buying bottled water for drinking and use this filtered water for cooking. My biggest complaint with the product is how difficult it is to open the housing whenever I want to replace filters. I just had to make an appointment with a neighbor to come over to open it for me. This should not be the case. If there's too much pressure, then there should be a button on the housing that gets pushed to relieve the pressure.
Cons: Difficult to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
