I have a counter top filter system. There's the unit with the two tubes connected to the faucet. Everything works fine except that when I clean the outside the the tubes ... by the end of the year the tubes have to be replaced as the inside of the tubes look yellow. I do not like the idea of drinking water that gets bacteria after leaving the filter going thru the tubes. They do replace them though, at no extra charge. I like that the price never goes up if you are on the auto refill every six months.

My only complaint about these filters is they do not filter out fluoride. I have a second system that I run water through that come out of this filter, for drinking, coffee, cooking, etc. It filters out fluoride.
