I have used the filter for about a month. While I have not tested the filtered water for chemical content, the water processed through the filter is clear with no chemical taste. The coffee I make with water through the filter is tremendously better than before.

I have bought a number of these in the 10 plus years I have been using them. They work great and simple to install, my only problems have been with the divert-er. The water flow is a bit slow once the filter starts collecting junk, but all in all I am very happy and just hope it is taking out all that it says it does.
