This filter makes a dramatic difference in the quality of water from the faucet. It produces clean, crisp, refreshing water. So if you're tired of water from plastic bottles that smells and tastes like melted plastic, or water with plastic chemicals leeched into it, then this is the filter system for you. However though, every once and a while, I'm not sure if it's filter, or that the water being supplied is significantly worse that day, but the filtered water will retain a slight smell and a slight after taste, this can be easily remedied by running the tap for a minute or so, then running the filter for a minute or so.

Cons: Slow pour

A great water filter that can be portable to a camper trailer with just additions of spigot and line tap. It takes out all the bad bugs and elements that come with regular tap water. And because it does filter all these baddies, it does have a slow flow rate, but at least your getting really pure water - better than bottled water.

I can't imagine life without our Aquasana filter system at the kitchen sink. It has been so wonderful for the past several years to go to the special spigot and get instant, perfect, crystal clear, clean, wonder tasting water! To know that the water is safe to drink is such a comfort considering all the environmental toxins in the world. The filters last a long time so the system is extremely budget friendly. We use this strictly for our drinking water. We have our own well with a softener hooked up but by adding this filter really improved our water quality and taste. The only negative we have is the very slow pour. We have adjusted to the slow pour by filling mason jars the night before and refrigerating them for the next days drinking water. Also found our filter replacement timeline is closer to 7-71/2months as opposed to the 6 month recommendation from the manufacturer.
