It's a wonderful filter. It will last around the stated 26 weeks for a family of 2. I also added the diverter with a pre filter due to excessive sediments in the water. Taste is exceptional. I love the fact of the ion exchange resin to pull the lead out of the water. I also purchased one for my 86 year-old mom. She loves it too. I make sure that I always cook with the filtered water. Food seems to taste better as well as drinking better tasting coffee and tea.
