I have used this filter system for several years and have no complaints. I used it in Illinois and knew the value of it and now using it in Arizona. Both places, when I did not have the filter on, I would not use the water for drinking or cooking. The best recommendation I can offer is to try it yourself and that way you will know for sure one way or the other. It is worth the risk of your money for the advantage of your health. I am (83) years in the life experience and don't have the time or will to spread false experiences.

We have had the Aquasana system for a year now and we love it! The system we were using after about a year the part that held the filter would blow the cap off after about a year and spray water everywhere. Also something else we noticed, with the old filter system, calcium / lime was still getting past the filter and you could see it building up on the filter. However with the Aquasana system there is no scale buildup at all and the water tastes great! We tell everyone who is looking for a filter to get an Aquasana!

It is not only far more economical than other filters but there is none of that terrible- for the- environment bottled water. The water has no treated water taste--I like it straight from the tap!
