Very good water, but the case that holds the filters requires turning covers with skinny O-rings. The O-rings slide around when you tighten the covers, and you have to take covers back off to reset the O-rings a few times before it stops leaking. Now the plastic tops that you have to use a ratchet on have stripped and I can no longer change the filter.

I have used this filter since 2009. I use it everyday. For ice, drinking water & cooking. I love the Water For Life Program, because it comes twice a year & I don't have to do anything! Also, if something on it breaks, they just send a replacement. NO CHARGE! I just have trouble installing since I have arthritis in my hands & it is difficult to loosen & replace. I am 66. That is the only problem.

We have the Aquasana counter top system, which uses two filters. I also signed up for the automatic shipment deal, so every 6 months we get the new filters in the mail. That's really nice because otherwise I'd probably forget about changing them out until they clogged. The filters are supposed to last about 6 months under normal usage, and they do. About the time the stream starts slowing down a little and you think maybe it's getting close to replacement time, the filters arrive in the mail. The water tastes noticeably better with this system.
