This is my first set of replacement filters for the counter top filtering system and I love it. It makes the water taste great and was so easy to install. Would recommend to anyone that wants to improve your town water's taste.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
there is nothing wrong with the filters themselves. the under-sink filter housing is(was) poorly designed. I have had two of the models that have large white screw top filter doors. model AQ-4501.55. Both of these systems began to leak uncontrollably after the second or third filter change. I see that they are redesigned again now, but i have doubts that the quality is any better.
The city water here is unbearable to drink. A family member recommended Aquasana, so I tried it and it is very good. Water is very clear and has a very good taste. The only negative thing that I can say about it is that it runs very slow, other than that it is a very good product, and I would recommend it to everybody.
The only thing about this filter I do not like is the the piece you pull out to start your water filtering. it stick so i have to push it back in, after a while it does not go back in place by its self. But the filter are great and last a long time.

I have this on my kitchen faucet. The basic installation is easy. It's connected to my faucet and the unit sits on a little shelf above it. Con is that I have to be sure the water running through it isn't hot, so I always turn on the cold and make sure it's running cold before I use the filter. Pro is that the water tastes great, much better than tap. The biggest con, and thankfully I only have to face it every six months, is that it's very difficult to twist the bottom open to change the filters. I always have to get someone else to open it up for me. Once it's open it's a snap to change them out. Ironically, I can tighten it myself, just can't get it back open. The design makes it next to impossible to use a tool to twist it. That could be improved. The little "wings" you are supposed to be able to use to turn the filters with aren't big enough for the task and actually get in the way. If they weren't there I could use a rachet to get some leverage and twist as needed. Overall, I really like the product. I've had it for over two years.
We use this filter for all coffee and drinks, as well as watering house plants. The water is tasty and clean and gets rid of the chlorine that is poured into our water system too generously. Best next to a reverse-osmosis system which is much pricier.
