Product used to come with some sort of lubrication for the o ring and does not any longer. Not sure why that changed. When changing filters can be tricky to get it so it doesn't leak. Make sure o ring is in correctly.

I have been using this filter for over 10 years. Easy to install and replace filter. The type of filter seem to improve each time, a little bit. I have not chosen upgrade to newer system as I have not seen any convincing need to upgrade.
