I bought one of these Aquasana Countertop Water Filters for my daughter's family last year, and got one for myself finally. Incredible filtering - the water tastes fantastic and I feel better knowing my health, and that of my kids and grandkids, is more protected by cleaning our nasty water. I also had an incredibly great customer service experience with Aquasana this week, which replaced for free a part of my shower filter even though it's certainly out of warranty period. I'm a life-long fan and will keep using and giving as gifts Aquasana products!

Our water was starting to taste really dirty in our rental apartment, and our Brita filter wasn’t doing it for us anymore. This was so easy to set up in our rental apartment! Our water tastes SO much better!! I feel so good knowing that my water doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals or things like Ibuprofen (didn’t know that was in water!) I’m so glad this countertop filter was available so we could have clean delicious water in our rental apartment!

The adapter sent with the purchase did not work for me, but they sent me another one (for free) and now it is working fine! If you need their help please call them, they are very slow at responding emails. The water pressure out of the filter is significantly lower than the tap water, so it takes a bit to fill a bottle. But overall it works pretty good!

Best countertop filter, using it for 6 months

We have tried all the usual faucet filters that generally don't last very long. Finally got the Aquasana AQ-4000W, it was easy to install, just make sure its tightened correctly to the faucet. The water flow is great (unlike other faucet filters where flow becomes a trickle in a month). Filter holds up for 6 months as advertised, filter replacement is also very easy. When replacing old filters , we got to see all the work this unit was doing cleaning our drinking water. I think the eternal search for durable/reliable countertop filter is over for us.

I'm in a rental and I wanted a filter system. Once I was able to get the aerator off the sink, it was a super easy installation. The kit even comes with two adapters for different faucets. I used some painter's tape to fix the tubing to the wall and a velcro cable tie to keep it on the sink with enough slack to move with the faucet. It's not the most elegant looking filter with the two hoses, but it works well and I'm very happy to no longer be drinking straight municipal tap water. I'd definitely buy another one in the future/plan to take it with us wherever we go next.
