Install was straight forward. The housing is bit flimsy but works. After installation, no leaks everything works great. Water tastes great!

The filter system was very easy to install! The design and size of the system required little to no rearranging of my under sink cabinet items. The water flow has been sufficient for our needs, and the water quality and taste is a vast improvement over our filter pitcher. The only "complaint" is the spigot feels a bit delicate when rotating it, but telling my family to not "yank on it" should be fine.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install
This unit was very easy to install and it can be done in under an hour. You need to make sure that you follow directions when it comes to setting the press fit lines into the unit, they need to press all the way into hard stop. My only criticism of this product is that the line supplied in the kit that is intended to go from you cold water in to the in of the water filter unit needs to be at least a foot longer. I don't know how these manufacturers come up with average length needed, but it needs to be longer. Water tastes good so far, I am noticing that the water temp is a bit warmer than the actual sink tap cold water though.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet, Easy to install
Water tastes great.Only drawback is we have a well and when pressure tank is on low end water runs very slow. Not a deal breaker we still like the unit.

Devastating System Failures

I bought the Aquasana 3-Stage Max Flow Under Counter Water Filtration System in March of 2020. It really does change the taste of te water and remove the chlorine which is great. Since the first filter replacement the first cartridge in line would leak if it was screwed in all the way. Water wouldn't flow through it. I would have to back it off an 1/8th of a turn to stop the leak and get water to flow through. Each time i would have to fine tune this, while it drips and leaks in the cabinet, then i have to check it every hour for the first day after replacement to make sure it didn't start leaking again. I ended up setting the whole unit in a tray to catch the drips and protect the cabinet. Finally one of the seams in the top manifold started leaking and spraying water out. It over flowed the drip tray, the cabinet and leak through the floor to the basement, destroying the ceiling and soaking the carpet. I have 2 sets of replacement filters on deck but am really hesitant to buy this again.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Slow pour
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The installation was easy. I'm glad this version uses a metal adaptor (the "brass tee") because the last Aquasana filter I had (the Claryum Direct Connect) uses a plastic adaptor and the screws got stripped too easily, leading to leaks. The instruction manual should tell you that you need 1 inch clearance on each side of the System Manifold. Now that it's installed, I'm happy to use it! My only question is: when I have to replace all the filters in a few months, do I throw them away? Or are they recyclable?
