Drinking Water Certified NSF P473 PFOA & PFOS

In our area, we have a growing concern for PFOA & PFOS chemical contaminants in our well and city water. We were ecstatic to find this 3 stage under counter drinking water filter file from Aquasana that was one of the very few filters we found that is NSF Certified P473 to remove over 95% of PFOA & PFOS chemicals from our drinking water. This filer was easy to install and has greatly not only improved the taste of our drinking water but added confidence with the NSF P473 certification to reduce/remove PFOA & PFOS class of chemical contaminants. These class of chemicals have been commonly found in non-stick pans, Scott Guard, water proofing, fire suppression and other products and seem to be a growing problem nationally.

After some issues with the first unit due to a manufacturing error the system is working as designed. I would like a bit more water pressure. It takes longer than desired to fill a big pot but is sufficient for filling smaller jugs or glasses. The water tastes great! For the money this is simple to install and is a good value. Most importantly I feel confident the water is safe to drink.
