I had a Pur faucet filter and it was bulky and had to change filter to often. I like this filter much better and it is not bulky, easy to use and looks nice.

We upgraded from faucet filter to undersink. It is costing us less than half for filter replacements and we don't have this monstrosity on our faucet. We love it. It was easy to install and a lot more convenient for getting water. The water quality is excellent and we signed up for Water for Life so the parts have a lifetime warranty and we don't have to remember to change filters as they come automatically.

I bought it mainly to remove the chloramine taste and smell in our water (Detroit area). It does that very well. However, it runs very slow compared to the RO unit in my previous house. That's the nature of the 2 systems though, I am told. My wife complains about a "sweet" taste. I don't experience that, but to me, it's just an odd, not natural taste. The installation was fairly easy, but i had to run the tubing from the opposite side of the sink, so i had to run out and buy longer tubing. All in all, i think it is a quality product and i would buy it again. We've only had it a couple of months so i can't speak to the longevity of the filters.

I really tried to switch from our RO system to save waste water, but unfortunately the water taste just wasn't to my liking. It made my tea taste funny and cloudy and the ice cubes were cloudy too. I think maybe we just have too hard of water for this system. I had to switch back to a new RO system and will be returning this system soon. I liked the price and the installation wasn't bad.
