I have finally had a chance to complete the installation of my new filtration system. For the most part it went in smoothly. However, the o-rings deform on the filter cartridges as you install them in the housing . Which of course causes them to leak. The purchase of new viton (this material not necessarily needed as there are no high temps) 90 durometer O-Rings (size 2-011 if you are interested) and the leaking stopped.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet, Easy to install

hard to replace. no instructions.. wont replace and continue using because of the battery noise and hassle aquasana engineered into their product. I have to get back to the noise and figure out how to shut it down.
Pros: Clean taste
Cons: Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install

Was excited about this solution for my tap water but had to return the whole system. I was able to easily install it but noticed that one end has a brass connector and the other has just plastic parts. After half a day of enjoying filtered water, the plastic end burst from the faucet tap and leaked water under my sink. I’m just thankful we caught it before going to bed. The water pressure in my old house fluctuates so the plastic parts won’t cut it. I can’t risk having a system that might burst and leak at any moment so I removed it and returned it. Pleased that the return process was simple and easy. Disappointed it didn’t work out for me.

Cons: Not durable

Installation was easy. However, filtration quality was not their. The total TDS with and without the filter are still 260 when my old but discontinued filter was as low as 16 most day. The flavor of the water is also very metallic because of this. Tastes like the filter isn’t even their.

Cons: Cloudy Water

TDS meters tell you the concentration of dissolved minerals and metals but are not an accurate measurement for contamination. Aquasana products reduce and remove harmful TDS like lead, but selectively retain or replace healthy dissolved solids like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
