We are long time Aquasana users. We recently upgraded to the Claryum 3 stage system and we are very happy. The flow is excellent and the water is clean and tastes great. It was extremely easy to install and filter change, while it hasn't been needed yet, seems easy.

Not worth the flooding

I want to like this so much, and when it isn't causing a flood in my house, it is great to have such quick and easy access to great water. The connection to the supply line is a very delicate and precarious connection and I spent Christmas Eve draining a foot of water from my basement and kitchen that rained down from the supply line slipping out. It was such a nightmare. When the plumber connected it she had to give such specific guidance to her apprentice about how carefully to not under- or over-tighten the connection that I was skeptical that this is really something that should be billed as self-install. This has been an ongoing problem as it will leak or slip out if you so much as breathe near it. I would recommend not having anything stored under your sink anywhere near the supply line. If you have to do any plumbing, like replacing your kitchen faucet, there is no way this won't slip out. I love having this filtered water in theory but I hate this system so much.

Cons: Difficult to install

My husband installed this very quickly, it doesn’t take up a lot of room under the sink at all. The water tastes great and I like knowing my kids are drinking water that from a filter that removes so many things including PFOAs

Very happy - and for years, now

I was reading through the reviews today just because I'm about to buy my mother-in-law one of these systems, and I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews. Some of them are silly because they are based on improper installation, but others were equally surprising regarding leaks. I don't even see how the product could leak in the first place - the filter housing fully closes tightly for each filter, and the rest of the mechanism is classic durable white tubing. My sense is these are all user installation errors. Anyway, I'm chiming in because our filter system has worked perfectly since day one about, gosh, seven or more years ago - I can't even remember. Also, changing the filters is a snap for us - it takes me about five minutes. Filters are too expensive, in my opinion, but that's my only criticism. The taste of our water is spectacular and consistent. We've never had a problem. We are only one family (family of three), but we've been wildly happy with the product. I first had the three stage and then upgraded to the faster flow longer filters - never a problem with either. Hope this helps. My name is Drew and I live in Portland, OR. Nov, 2023.

When it works it's good but there's a lot of fault

The filters good if it works but almost every time I've had new filters sent there's been an issue, first time the plastic broke and they had to ship a new housing (they made me pay for shipping), 2 of the next 3 times the filters have been "faulty" and have significantly reduced the flow out of the faucet. I'm currently waiting for an "expedited" shipment of another replacement set of filters but doesn't seem to be arriving anytime soon. Again they had the cheek to try and charge me for expedited shipping whilst having just sent two repeated sets of faulty filters by their assessment.
I can't say I've tried any other brands but there has to be better quality options than this that would be worth a try.

Cons: Slow pour, Not durable

We used a pitcher-style water filter for decades but grew wary of the visible buildup inside the fill section and got tired of scrubbing it clean, not to mention the space it took up in the fridge. The Aquasana has been a real game-changer. Water tastes great and flows strong and fast from the spout. It was easier than expected to install, I did it myself. The provided faucet is very attractive and the handle movement is smooth and secure. It's all around a real pleasure to use and we're so glad to have clean, filtered water at the ready.
