We were looking hard for an affordable under counter filter system that complied with the NSF 42, 53 & 401 standards. This was the most reasonable and replaces our large Brita filter in the fridge. Never have to lug that over to the sink anymore! The water tastes great and we recommend the membership for new filters every 6 months!

Was really easy to install. I had to buy one extra fitting, and I installed it directly to my ice maker. The only thing I would change is a little more descriptive in which size tubing is included.

When my wife and I moved to Tempe, we were quite disturbed by the bad-tasting water. I researched local water quality and learned that "turbidity" is a problem. Although the taste can be improved with most filters, the compounds that cause turbidity are not necessarily removed. Aquasana was the only under-the-counter filter we found that was certified to remove turbidity. We've been using the unit for 2 months. Now the water tastes fine and I feel it is safe. Installation instructions could have been clearer. After reading reviews, we're happy we got the Max-Flow model. It works great. 4/5 stars only because we haven't yet changed the filters.
