We installed the 3-stage undersink filter in the kitchen of our church, and a 2-stage Aquasana filter in the upstairs of the sanctuary building. These two filters, plus a standing bottleless cooler in each of the buildings, constitute our new drinking water filtration system. This system is saving us approximately $2500 per year over the bottled water we used to have delivered. It is also a strong contributor to overall efforts in our church to reduce our negative environmental impact. Plus, we feel confident that the water we are using for cooking and drinking is cleaner and healthier by far than what we were using before. When I was researching undersink filters to use as components of this system, I was impressed by a number of things: high ratings on water filter rating websites favorable customer feedback on the Aquasana site inclusion on the Aquasana site of less favorable feedback Water for Life program price sense of the company's respect for the environment, for example as demonstrated by the compostable/recyclable cartridges We have only had the system in place for a month and a half, so I can't comment much about functionality, but so far, so good! The only hassle is the slow flow time, especially when we are filling large pots for meals for 60 people or filling coffee and hot water pots for even larger groupings, however I appreciate that the slow fill time means that the water is getting well filtered.
