Just bought this filter 3 weeks ago. Pro’s: Easy to install and use. The water is crisp and delicious. Con’s: The filter periodically turns on by itself. Water may collect on top of the pitcher when filling it. These con’s are very minor.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install

Regret the investment

I ordered my first Clean Water Machine and ended up getting a second because the first one never turned on. After they sent the replacement, I got the second one to work just fine. Cool. Everyone has a dud every now and then and they were super about replacing the dud. Well, the second leaks. Like a sieve. It doesn't matter if we don't fill it to the top. It doesn't matter how many times I put the top back on the filter and apply pressure as I turn it into place. It leaks from the bottom, and the top of the filter lid! My counter is always wet... We have a dish towel under it that LITERALLY is soaked every day. It leaks that much. It's a waste, but it's also terrible for my counters, a mess, and so annoying to have to keep replacing a towel under it every single morning. The water tastes great but for the hassle, I'd suggest something else. The leaks are just not worth the headache EVERY SINGLE DAY.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I guess I shouldn't expect it to last a life time but it died after 2 years. So I guess the life expectancy is 2 years. If so it is a great machine for the price.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable

I have used my new clean water machine twice since it arrived and I can really taste a difference. My well water, while not unpalatable, after Brita filtration tastes ”rusty”. with New Aquasana filtration that taste is gone. I may not need to buy bottled water anymore.
I would have given 5 star rating but noise of machine during filtration was quite a surprise and will take some getting used to. Cannot filter water while someone is sleeping!
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install

Great water filtration, but...

This is my 2nd Aquasana. The first one lasted about 3 years. We are having to unplug this one when not filtering water, because it will turn on by itself and then we have water all over the counter and floor. I am very disappointed about this happening, but love this unit, otherwise.
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable

Love this product, and like others..I have had my system for drinking water for a year...however leaks on my counter also? Anything I can do or do I need to purchase a new pitcher?
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow
Cons: Filters need replacing too often

Taste Good But VERY Loud

It tastes great but the unit is very loud, especially for me living in an apartment building. I bought the dispenser unit, which means everytime I want a glass of water, it sounds like a blender turning on. I also found the unit fairly big and it would tend to drip while filling the container up or filling a glass.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Slow pour
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You are correct that the system does produce some noise. Because our system filters such a large amount of water faster than any other water filtration pitcher on the market, it does require a more powerful motor.
We do have a smaller pitcher available as an add-on which allows you store a liter of water in your refrigerator. Just give us a call at 866.662.6885 if you would like to order one
