We did not realize how great water could be. It is the easiest way for someone in an apartment to get purified water and after going through 3 gallons a day, it is the most economical. Love the product, would highly recommend for those who buy bottled water.

This system did not have any effect on my water

I should have tested my well water prior to purchasing this system. Turns out that the tests for the water out of the tap were fine and there was no change in the results after filtering through this system. Test your water first. You may not need this system. Also I didn't need to change the filter but the red light is programmed to light not based on usage but on 90 days. Beware you may not need to change it as frequently as they make it appear.
Cons: Filters need replacing too often

Great water filter machine, except for the leaking

This is a great water filter machine. It is stylish, attractive, and fits nicely on the countertop. It is easy to fill and filters the water fast. It is loud as other reviews will be affirm; however, it filters the water so quickly you don't really have to have it on very long.
The problem was the leakage that started within a couple of weeks of usage, had to have towels underneath to soak up considerable amount of water.
I'm very happy to report that I have found a solution to stop the leaking problem. After you properly install the filter and screw the top cover on tightly, with no gap, you tape the cover down well (I used clear packing tape) so it doesn't pop up, which is the reason why it leaks. Try it and see if it works for you too.

Worked for a while

Bought this a while back (year or two ago). It's noisy and leaks but it worked. A week ago it just stopped working. Nothing obvious to me why, it just did. Not sure but I believe the price when I bought it was less than what I see today. At a cheaper price I suppose buying a new one would be an option. But, at the current listed price, not buying one again.

Cons: Not durable

Ridculously loud, taste basic, video doesnt say ..

The unit is very loud almost to the point that it’s distracting, it doesnt taste cleaner and the video doesn’t tell you to keep the water in the middle I had a little water on the side and it flooded the whole place

Leaks but I figured out a fix (I think)

As others have reported, our unit leaks - from the top. I wrapped the cover's big O-ring with 3 layers of teflon tape and that seems to have stopped the leak. Other than that, product does what it's supposed to.
