This was a replacement for our other Cuisinart which we had for 8 yrs. We use it on a shelf we had constructed when we did a new kitchen. It saves counter space. It was the size we needed and I have no doubt it will serve us as long as our previous Cuisinart did.

Bought this to replace a Cuisinart I had for many years. The Sensor Cook works fairly well for most things. The Inverter Technology is amazing. Temperature is consistent at all power levels. The microwave feels solid, unlike some other brands I looked at in the stores which were so flimsy the doors didn't even close properly. I just hope the quality hasn't diminished since I last purchased a microwave and this one will serve me well for many years. Only time will tell.

This microwave replaced one I'd had for a number of years. It is quiet and the inverter technology is awesome! I like the handle instead of pushing to open it and it's very roomy inside. I have a Cuisinart kitchen which speaks volumes, right?

This is a beautiful microwave. Have only had it a month but like everything so far except that the rotating plate is not held snugly in place very well and often needs adjusting when you have moved the cooked item a bit. So it's easily displaced and makes noises as it tries to right itself. Also, not happy that you can't use it to cook while you're using the timer function.

I purchased this microwave because Cuisinart has a reputation for reliability. It has 1000 watts (medium) power and cooks at medium (acceptable) speed.
Pros The microwave is very quiet in operation. The 12" turntable handles large casseroles. The keypad is easy to use. Pressing Start by itself provides 30 seconds of full power cooking.
Cons The display does not indicate when cooked food is ready to be removed. If you miss hearing the beeps at end of cooking, there is no way of knowing if the microwave is empty or contains cooked food. It should display "done" or "end" instead of 0:00.
The inside color is dark gray instead of white, and it is more difficult to see whether food is turning in the microwave while cooking. The dark color hides spills and splatter, but I would rather have a white interior that I can be sure has been cleaned.
If the Defrost (by) Weight command is set to less than four ounces, the Start button will not work and mimics a faulty keypad. The display does not indicate an error. The software should allow defrost at 1-3 ounces even though it will be ineffective. This is the only command I have found so far that disables the Start button.
The clock displays only 12-hour, not 24-hour time, but does not need to be turned on. It would be nice to have both display settings.

I just wish the interior was white so I could easily see the spots to clean. It didn’t say on the outside box the color of the interior unlike our old Panasonic microwave that had white interior.

I really like this microwave so far, though it's not perfect. Like the inverter technology for even cooking. It's powerful enough and very quiet. Haven't had it long yet so can't speak to durability. One downside with the dark interior is that the interior light really isn't bright enough. Also for Cuisinart at this price point a backlit control keypad would be nice. I would probably buy it again.
