This was a replacement for our 5+ yr old microwave. This thing is SO quiet. Not sure if that's an indication of the condition of the old one or not but it's so quiet that you don't know it's running until the beep sounds. Also, pretty thorough heating. It requires less rounds of heating for thicker dishes like stew & chili.

This microwave works well and is much quieter than other makes and models I've owned. I was concerned that the door handle would be obtrusive, but haven't found it to be so.
I would love to see future models include a plate that stays in place, and stop beeping when the door is opened or the "stop/cancel" button is pressed.

Side from the title, this has inverter technology, which means that at lower power or defrost levels, it provides a continuous stream of power rather than alternating from 100 percent to zero at intervals. This makes for more even cooking & defrosting.

I replaced my old microwave that I have had for over 15 years. I am greatly pleased about how quiet this is! I have to look at it to see if it is running. I love the ease of the different settings and would definitely recommend it to others.

The microwave works fine. I spent twice as much on it as on the previous model. Only time will tell how well this one holds up. The previous one lasted 8 years and was about the same size. I purposely upgraded by going for a more expensive model, thinking you get what you pay for. The decals on my last one wore through after about 5 years where you couldn’t read the numbers. I hope this model doesn’t have that problem. I am still getting used to the controls. I I have had it about a month now and no complaints. It feels nice to have something new and in good condition, and I trust the Cuisinart name, having had my food processor close to 30 years and still performing well.
