I had an 8 cup Cuisinart food processor for years and loved it. It would still be going but I dropped the top, it cracked and I couldn't get a replacement (it was too old). I've had this new one for about 2 months now and love it even more than I did the first one! I use it for many things, but make homemade hummus at least twice a week in it. It has a bigger capacity than my old one which is perfect for making larger quantities. It also comes with a great sturdy plastic case (that locks for safety) for storing all the sharp parts. It is very powerful and great value for the money ! The stainless steel is nice looking too, and easy to clean and the bowl, top and blades just go in the dishwasher. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great food processor for a great price!

I process tons of veggies and make large quantities of canned goods and it is a huge time saver. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the adjustable slicer. It would pull the veggies at an angle as they went in so you get some wonky slices. But I love everything else. Added bonus: the customer service is wonderful. My small work bowl cracked and they quickly sent a replacement. Much appreciated.

Only used once and it was Awkward wanted to pause it or turn it off and had to unplug it each time. Dicing kit left a mess to clean as it all was not diced so a lot of waste

I think this is my 4th Cuisinart. I have loved them all -- the only brand of food processor I've ever had. But, this one is so much better. I love the larger capacity with the 2 work bowls, so you can use it for smaller jobs, not just for large quantities. I also love how tightly the parts fit together. Very solid. Also gets the tasks done so quickly. Having a safe place to store the parts is a big plus!

Overall OK, but in the chopping and grating modes too much under-processed food accumulates around the perimeter of the lid and the corners of the main basket, requiring manual remixing and over-processing of some of the food. It seems the clearance between the blades and the container is too much.
