Beautiful and high functioning

We've been married for 16 years and have gone through 2 sets of pans already, it was time to replace the yet again and I decided to switch to stainless steel and go for this 10 piece set. I was a little nervous, switching over to stainless steel, but I have been AMAZED! food is cooking more evenly, quicker AND it's SO EASY TO CLEAN! For me those are the three big ones, heats, quickly, cooks evenly and ease of cleaning up and this set knocks it out of the water!
bonuses - dishwasher safe... WHAT I mean that's crazy awesome. BEAUTIFUL, as a youtuber my pans are always being videoed and honestly I've been embarrassed by my old beat up pans, but these are going to be the STAR of the show. The glass lids? super convenient, being able to see how it's doing without constantly opening the lids is amazing. AND the lids are also oven safe (along with the cookware of course) SUPER easy for foods, like steak, that you start on the stove and end in the oven.
I was nervous that because the handles are metal on metal that they'd get too hot and I'd have to constantly be using hot pad holders or something but it's like MAGIC the handles stay cool to the touch while the pan heats beautifully. My husbands biggest concern was that the food would burn or bake on and be difficult to clean, but that wasn't the case at all, even scrambled eggs with melted cheese came right up.
AND Full Lifetime Warranty? AMAZING no more replacing pots and pans for me! Pretty, easy, works great and a warranty, seriously an amazing set! THANK YOU

Don’t waste you money

I Received this 10 piece Signature stainless set two weeks ago. Everything sticks and it’s virtually impossible to clean. It’s like there’s some sort of clear coating on it that melts when you cook and it’s impossible to come off. I’m now trying to send the set back, but this seems to be even more difficult than cleaning the pan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please be informed stainless steel cookwares are not essentially nonstick. To achieve a nonstick surface on your stainless steel frying pans, you need to heat up the pan first before adding any oil or butter so it creates a seemingly nonstick surface. Additionally, the food needs to be at a room temperature before adding it to the pan as cold foods will bring down the temperature of the pan and will cause more sticking. I was told that these pans must be seasoned. I have gone on YouTube and the internet. So far eggs and fish continue to stick. I was told to use Lard instead of Olive Oil. So I am trying that. I have season a cast iron frying pan but frustrated with these.

Instead, you may use Bar Keeper's Friend in cleaning your cookware. You can use the one considered a “mild abrasive” and contains oxalic acid. Hope this information helps.

Finally, a cookware set we can rely on!

We received this product for free to try out, but our review was based on our personal opinion. My husband and I have been looking for a quality set of pots and pans for quite some time now, over 10 years. One of our first purchases as a couple was actually a cookware set. We've tried every type on non-stick out there but, we've come to realize there is a reason professional chefs use stainless steel. These pans are thick and heavy, this means they are able to cook food evenly by properly distributing heat and holding it there. This allows us to get that perfect crispy crust without burning or sticking. The all metal construction means we can pop food in the oven, pan and all, to keep warm or to finish cooking. This feature is my personal favorite. My husband loves the 8 qt. stock pot for cooking soups, stews, and pasta. It's the perfect size to feed our growing family of 6. Clean up is easy and knowing we no longer have to worry about chemicals leaching into our food from a non-stick surface is nice too. The best part is, we finally have a cookware set that will last us for many years to come. Thanks Calphalon!

DO NOT BUY. IT IS Waste of money

I bought this set and not only does it burn. The material is not bad. Its not original stainless steel. It causes dark stains, rust marks and after trying to wash it with everything I know even the mild abrasive with Oxy...,, still the same thing. It happens when I fry eggs

The Perfect Set for Beginner or Expert Cooks

While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. My husband and I cook a lot at home, so finding a set that could provide us durability, hold heat, and offer easy cleaning was a must. The Calphalon Signature Stainless Steel set provides a durable heavy and thick 10 piece set of pans and pots. Being dishwasher and oven safe up to broiler temperatures makes this set work well for a diverse cooker. Having a set that is oven safe is a high priority in our house. We love being able to slide the steak directly into the oven to finish cooking and Calphalon allows us to do this. The glass lids sit snuggly on the pans and pots and allow you to see your food as it cooks. We loved cooking full crab legs in the 8-quart stock pot, which had plenty of room for even cooking. The set comes with plenty of size options for the beginner cook (me) or the expert cook (my husband) to make a masterpiece meal. The set is easy to clean, even if you make the mistake of not adding enough oil to cook your food. Calphalon offers a lifetime warranty and the set feels like it will last you a lifetime. I'm very happy to own this Calphalon Cooking Set. It has and will continue to provide us the with the joy of cooking foods we love.

Pans for a lifetime!

This cookware set is everything anyone would need in their kitchen for cooking. The set would make a fabulous wedding gift and last a lifetime. The set includes an 8-in. Omelette Pan, 10-in. Omelette Pan, 2-qt. Sauce Pan with Cover, 3-qt. Sauce Pan with Cover, 3-qt. Saute Pan with Cover, and 8-qt. Stock Pot with Cover. I have used various stainless steel pans for a number of years, and I was blown away by the durable quality of these Calphalon pans. They are heavy-duty pans that will last a lifetime. They also seem lighter than cast iron and other heavy pans which make them a lot easier to work with in my opinion. Although the pans come with a lifetime warranty, I can’t imagine I would ever need to use the warranty but nice to know it’s available JUST in case. With two kids around, anything is possible.
What I particular love about these pans is the even heating and how easy it is to brown meat on the stovetop and finish in the oven. My chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The handles of all the pans also stay cool enough to touch while cooking on the stovetop which is perfect for my kids who also love to cook. I felt very comfortable letting my kids use the pans. The pan handles do get hot in the oven, so just be careful when removing the pans. The stainless steel pans I have had in the past always had stainless steel tops that made it very difficult to see in and since I’m not the most patient cook, I’ve always hated that. I LOVE that this set comes with glass tops. It makes cooking so much easier and I no longer have to peak!

The Best Cookware Set I've Ever Used

I've owned a lot of pots and pans over the years, but this one not only contains every piece of cookware I need, it's also the best I've used, hands down. The set (which includes an 8 inch omelette pan, a 10 inch omelette pan, a 2 quart sauce pan with cover, a 3 quart sauce pan with cover, a 3 quart saute pan with cover, and an 8 quart stock pot with cover) is heavy duty and what I would consider professional quality. The heating is even no matter what I'm cooking (everything from eggs to tofu to veggies to soup), and the temperature control is precise, so my meals come out perfectly done without a lot of effort in terms of getting the temperature right. Each piece in the set also has a triple-layer aluminum core fused between two layers of stainless steel, which creates a super durable surface that is also beautiful to look at (these are by far the prettiest pots and pans I've ever owned!). In edition to the quality of the pieces in this set (that also come with a lifetime warranty, which is important to me), they're practical. They're dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, they have tempered glass covers so you can see what you're cooking (I love this!), and the brushed stainless steel handles are long and stay cool while you're cooking. I've recommended this set to several of my friends as well.
