Not the best

Cooks unevenly and even with a lot of oil (which i don’t want to have to cook with everytime) everything sticks and it’s near impossible to clean. I would like to return it without having to pay shipping as the item is not as described for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything sticks, very hard to clean.Disappointed

Everything sticks and even though I put oil at the bottom, everything sticks and it is very hard to clean. I'm trying to leave teflon type pans behind but at this point, I am very disappointed.

We are truly sorry to hear that our Calphalon Classic™ Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set failed to meet your expectations, but we really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Please be informed that stainless steel is not nonstick, and food will tend to stick to them. Calphalon cookware is very heat-efficient; using high heat will quickly cause food to stick and burn. The cookware will release the food if used correctly. First, any food that has been refrigerated needs to be taken out at least 5 -10 minutes prior to cooking to allow food to warm slightly. Placing cold food in a hot pan will cause it to stick. After the food has warmed slightly, preheat the pan for about a minute to a minute and a half, or until the pan is hot. Once it is hot, lightly coat the pan with butter or oil, and let that heat for a few seconds to one minute. Once the oil reaches the proper temperature, place the food in the pan. Because the pans are stainless steel, we recommend using metal utensils. To restore the shine to the stainless steel, you may also use Bar Keeper’s Friend® cleanser (or other polish made especially for stainless steel) and a non-abrasive sponge or soft-bristle brush. If none of these helps and if you feel that your cookware is defective, we'd recommend to file a warranty claim. With this, we have sent you an email so that we may come up with the best resolution to your concern as your product carries a limited lifetime warranty. Hi MRob! Thank you for giving your feedback and comments about the Calphalon Classic™ Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set. We're sorry to hear about the stained issue of your cookware. Here are the basic tips on how you can remove stains on stainless steel cookware:
(1) Baking Soda, Vinegar, and Dish Soap Solution
Mix baking soda and dish soap
Scrub the paste on the stainless steel pan
Cover the pan with the solution using a kitchen towel
Soak the kitchen towel with vinegar
Let it sit for 15–30 minutes
Then rinse Properly.
(2) Use a Barkeeper's Friend cleanser and a soft, nonabrasive sponge.
(3) To remove the browning
Add three teaspoons of soda, pour hot water, and cook it for about 15 minutes.
Baking soda should dissolve the burnt rests and enable to remove them quickly.
For better results, you can also add three teaspoons of vinegar to the mixture of water and baking soda, and cook it for about 15 minutes and to avoid sticking you can use an ample amount of butter or oil.

Im not one for writing reviews at all. I think this maybe my first but these pans are so bad. No matter what anti stick I put on them before I cook and I only have them a few weeks, they are horrendous. I video record meals for my job as I’m a nutritionist and I had to go and purchase another brand because I couldn’t have them on the camera.
