So happy. YES it takes practice!

So happy. YES it takes practice cooking in stainless steel. I bought a single pan to practice on because in the past ive used none stick pans but they are toxic and dont last long. It took many trys and a bottle of bar keepers liquid cleaner. You have to cook at a lower temperature especially on a gas stove but even on an electric the most ill cook on is medium heat. Dont forget to heat the pan and then also heat the oil you put in it and coat the whole bottom with the oil. Yes they get discolored sometimes but just put a layer of bar keepers liquid for a few minutes and everything comes off without any scrubbing and they will look shiny as new. Cooking takes patience and using stainless steel takes patience. Just practice and dont just blame the pans. Always google. Read reviews and ask questions. I have not mastered eggs, but ive never made such perfect pancakes as i do in my pan. Cant wait to order a set and continue learning.

I have had these for about 4 months, everything sticks to them no matter what. The clean up is just the worst experience ever. Even after cleaning then mmm multiple times there are stains all over and it makes the cookware look awful. You would think the performance of this product would be great because it’s Calphalon but it’s awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a disappointment

I purchased a 10 piece Caphalon Classic on 1/29/2018. Washed all by hand following the directions. Cooked potatoes in the 3 qt. Washed by hand, noted discoloration on the bottom.white blotches. Used the 6 qt. To cook pasta,same issues.

I received this set as a Christmas present. After using them the first time and washing them by hand after, I noticed severe discoloration. Did not expect to experience this issue with this brand.

Disappointed

I purchased this set about 2 months ago and after ever wash (hand wash) there are stains on them. I purchased stainless steel cleaner that worked but I have to use it every time. It’s too much work to have stain free pots. I also have the stainless steel utensil set and they are great. So I assume these pots are made with cheap materials

If you are looking for a medium priced set of Stainless steel, look no further. This is the best cookware set I've had in 30 years. They are a nice weight, they heat evenly and are easy for me to clean. Not as easy as nonstick, but these will hold up to normal wear and tear. And if you accidentally drop a knife or fork in them you don't have to worry about the finish.
I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them.
