I've had my Dutch oven for almost a year now and absolutely love it. Heats evenly and thoroughly. Not your typical product. Gave one to each of my children for Christmas last year and none of us would use anything else. A must have in your collection.

I give this Dutch Oven and Cover 4 3/4 stars ... love everything EXCEPT the bottom ... so slick, if not careful you could easily pull it off a burner. The bottom should have a roughened texture.

This is the best pan I ever bought. It's been named it the "Go to Pan. I use it for soups, stews, chili, spaghetti sauce. I use it to fry almost everything, as the sides are so high. It doesn't splatter on the stove.

I bought this about 6 months ago. I am very satisfied to have it. Very easy to use and clean. After using it for couple of months I bought one for my mom and sister too. Both of them just love it. It is the perfect size that I have always wanted.

Your Must Have Dutch Oven

This dutch oven is great, it is large enough for creating a good sized meal for large families, or smaller ones that want leftovers. Perfect size for homemade soups. It is also good looking, so it can go from the stovetop to your table top.

Great option to buy. The size is awesome. We cooked chicken and dumplings. Often that is a dish where things can stick, especially while the dumplings cook. I, the male, did the dishes. I literally swished some water around and the pot was free of any food. (Don't worry, I used some soap on a wash cloth too.)

Wonderful All-Around Pot

I bought this initially because I was going to be cooking for a family member's 90th birthday celebration where over 50 people would be attending. I needed the largest dutch oven/pot I could find, and this worked perfectly, shortening the time involved in pre-preparing the main course.
Since then I have used it for just about anything you can think of - soups, peasant style ratatouille, gumbo, chili, chicken cacciatore, etc. (I prepare large double batches so I can freeze a large amount for later.) And it has worked absolutely perfectly for everything. I used to have to start some dishes in one pan and split the contents at some point in the prep to make the quantity I've needed, but not with this pan because it is so large.
And as others have commented, for its size, it is exceptionally lightweight. And the clean-up is so easy that it's amazing. Storage can be a consideration because it's so large, but we found a way to make it happen.
I couldn't recommend this item more highly if you have the need for a large dutch oven or pot.
