My first grown-up cookware

Great pans. I began buying Calphalon a few years ago as pieces went on sale, always had odds and ends, inexpensive pots & pans before that. I read about the tri-ply type of cookware, knew that stainless is not truly non-stick, compared other brands for reputation / functionality / cost and went with Calphalon and have never once regretted the decision. Heat evenly, stove top to oven. Affordable. While food does stick a bit, proper technique makes it minimal and they clean so easily. I use a stainless steel cleaner regularly to keep them really clean. Have bought these for my older son and his wife and will do so for my younger son when he is ready.

Great Stainless Steel Set

This is an excellent stainless steel set. I have gotten this piece by piece over several years. There are a few pieces I still want to add to my collection. I am very happy with product, especially at the price point. I see many reviews about food sticking. If you know how to cook with stainless steel, it does not stick. I am guessing many of those reviews are from people who do not know how to cook on stainless steel. Do not let those reviews deter you from buying this.

i have this whole set and only use one time its really embarrassing such a expensive cookware set and not able to use cuz all the food get stick not sure what to do at this point i have just one of the classic calphalon and that one dont stick

I've had my 13-piece set since 2010 and have added more pieces since then, because I like the even-cooking, the as-new look after clean-up, and the versatility.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m Spechless! BAD!

I bought these a couple months ago hoping to be the best pots ever and I’m sorry to say that is not the case! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING STICKS!!! It is so embarrassing trying to make something for my wife and have to deal with all her food stuck to the pan! I have used butter, oil, EVERYTHING! I wish I can return them but don’t have the receipt nor the box anymore... Very Disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything sticks

We registered for this set as a wedding gift. I was so excited to get them. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING sticks to the pan. I've tried all kinds of oils, butter, you name it...doesn't seem to matter. We wanted Calphalon because they are known for quality. These are awful.

My first fancy pots and pans!

I dreamed of having a beautiful set of pots and pans. When we have friends in, the women migrate to the kitchen. I was so proud to have my calphalon SS on the stove. My girlfriends said how beautiful they looked. Shining brightly. Alas, the food was sticking! I almost cried. How can that be? Is it me? I never thought ss would let foods stick.
I do cook w/oil. I even tried spraying PAM in the pans then a little olive oil. Nope. The food still stuck. Even bacon and eggs. I am so disappointed. I have been married 55 yrs, and never could afford a set like this before. I am so disappointed. Help.

I have been using 3 pots of this series since 2012. After 8 yrears, still like new; no rust, no crack on the lids, so clean n durable. Elegantly curved handles are my favorite parts as well. Also, all the items of this set are so useful.
