Beautiful products for a true chef

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw these pans I couldn’t get over how nice they looked. They were heavy, sturdy and solid. They have a very sleek look and the kids stack easily with each other to save space. They also clean easily in the dishwasher and come out looking new. They heat well on the stove and can transfer to the oven as well. These are excellent pans and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality cookware. They belong in a chefs kitchen.

Functional and beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using this set. They have a beautiful, smooth feel and modern appearance; I felt they acted almost non-stick when I preheated and oiled the pan (per the instructions) to cook eggs (my first test). I love that they're dishwasher safe, but with a little soak, I haven't had any trouble hand washing them, either (because sometimes/often I don't have the room to spare for a big pan in my load of dishes). They feel sturdy and well-built, and I like the glass lids, so I can see what's going on without letting the cooking heat escape. The space saver stacking design is nice, too; my husband is always complaining about how much room my pot/pan lids take up. That said, I feel it's a slight inconvenience to have to line up the lid when I put it on (i.e. it only settles in place in one direction); maybe that's just me. When the lids are on straight, they seem to really hold in the heat, which is awesome. On the downside, I don't really like the metal edge on the top of the lids; it just feels a little bit sharp or raw-edged. The handles do get hot, not surprisingly, and it is slightly harder to grab the side handles (than a top handle) with a puffy, mitted hand, since they fit fairly close to the pan handles. Also, I cooked hamburger meat in my 10-inch pan (without oil, since it releases plenty of its own grease), and while I stirred it regularly, and it was only on medium heat, my pan now has the heat-damaged look (typically from overheating a dry pan -- I was surprised that they recommended heating it before adding oil, for this reason). Though it was probably user error, I'm sad that such a common task (for me) caused it; it doesn't feel as smooth when cooking now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cookware! I have used all the pieces for a variety of cooking needs the last several weeks and have been very impressed. I am very please with how they stack inside of each other for easy storage. It actually gives me a little bit more space in my cupboard, which I love. I will admit that I was a little concerned because I'm used to using nonstick cookware but I really did not have trouble with my food sticking to these pans at all. I would definitely recommend purchasing this cookware set. It is worth every penny and is a very good value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] am very impressed with the Calphlon Premiere Space Saving Cookware Set. This set is very sturdy, heavy and durable. I have never had anything stick while cooking. I have very limited cabinet space and I am able to stack this cookware set and store it in a small space. This set comes with 3 pieces which vary in size. I have found each of the pieces to be versatile and I am able to cook just about anything in them. This set is a great asset to my kitchen!

Attractive and well built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using an all stainless steel cook set and I must say, I'm impressed. First impression was that the pans were very heavy and felt sturdy and well made. I feel like they'll last for years to come, unlike my nonstick pans which show their years of wear and tear. They heated evenly and I had no issues with the actual cooking performance of the pans. The main drawback that I was not used to was that the handles are metal too and become quite hot with the rest of the pan. I was also not used to how to clean stainless. It does take some extra care to keep sparkling. Look into a cleaner specifically for stainless steel. The stackability for storage is a nice touch and very appreciated. None of my other cookware nests well and I wish this was a feature that would catch on. Overall these pans are very high end and with proper care I see no reason why they shouldn't last a very long time.

Things I love:
The lid fits all the pots. no more guessing games trying to find the correct lid.
The pots have a special groove to keep the lid in place.
The lid takes up less space and it's easy to keep my cabinets organized, especially since I have limited cabinet room to begin with.
The pots are smooth, quality stainless steel.
I've found these super easy to clean.

Pans to Last A Life Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed using this product for cooking, especially for items that need to cook for a while (e.g. soups and chill's) as it managed the heat distribution evenly and consistently over time. I also like the lids being see through. It's not something you always think of but it's useful to be able to see the food without a handle in the middle; it does not steam up easily either. When I had soup on, I could watch the chicken cook to the right consistency. The pans are durable, hold up well, and the stacking feature is nice to fit them in a small area.
The only downsides are they are not naturally non-stick like some pans I have used and the weight of the stainless steel made it difficult to easily transfer items to a plate or another pan with one hand.

The set includes 5 total pieces; 1 large pot, 2 large pans, and 2 glass lids. I have used the set on a few occasions so far and have been happy with the food its cooked and the cleanup. The set is easy to store and does not take up a lot of space in the cabinets. I would recommend this to anyone especially if your kitchen is tight on space like ours.
