My new favorite pans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I loved about this set was the sleek stackable design! The lid is my favorite - there is no bulky handle on top (which makes stacking storage next to impossible with other lids). There are two handles on the side of the lid - GENIUS!! These have quickly become my favorite pans and have replaced my other skillets. It is the perfect size for cooking for my family of 5. It fits well on my stove top and heats evenly. I love the wide bottom & depth that allows you to cook dishes that have sauce where you don't have to worry about liquids spilling over. My only concern was that one of my pans arrived dented on the top rim. While it does not affect the function, it appears that it won't be long before the coating will start to flake off.

WOW!! Great Quality and Saves Space? YES PLEASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a three piece Calphalon Premier Space Saving Cookware set to test out. I definitely need space saving as I only have one cabinet for all of my pots, pans and plastic containers - any overflow goes into the “under the stove” drawer. The very sleek looking set I am testing came with a 12” fry pan and 5qt sautéuse. Both feel quite hefty when lifted and thus far can be deemed durable. The best part (IMO) is the delightfully flat (and knob free - so awesome for stacking!!)tempered glass lid. The entire set is fitted with stainless steel handles that are advertised to stay cool while cooking. This cookware is a great space saver in my cabinets - it’s main claim to fame is that it can be stacked and nested in any order all while saving 30% more space. This is definitely accurate!! Its simple to stack them within each other and the handles have interlocking notches so they all fit nicely and still allow a place to set a few other things on top of them. I have cooked a variety of meals on them and all have turned out perfectly. I had absolutely NO issue with food getting stuck or burnt onto the pans, everything cooked quick and evenly and after a very brief hand washing in the kitchen sink the cookware cleaned up nicely and still looks brand new. The set comes with a full lifetime warranty, though i’m fairly certain this set will maintain their awesomeness for many, many years to come! The only downfall so far has to do with the stainless steel handles that are advertised to stay cool while cooking - unfortunately they get very hot while cooking. It’s a bummer since it seems to be one of the major features being advertised the box, but this is not a deal breaker for me. I can live with wearing oven mitts, it’s just good sense to use them anyways! I have such limited space in my kitchen, these are great to cook with and they totally save space like no other set i’ve had. I most definitely will recommend the Calphalon Premier Space Saving cookware set to anyone looking for great quality compact cookware!

Best skillets I’ve used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pans are possibly the best pans I’ve ever used. The non stick works perfectly and they create the perfect sear on chicken breasts and beef; yet works well on bacon and veggies—for basically anything. The lid is functional, sleek, and elegant. I love the way these pans both look and function. I realize they are pricey, but I believe they are worth the cost. They really are excellent. Now for a few negatives- I initially thought that these pans were a little too “high profile” to be considered low profile. They actually stack higher than the skillets I already have nesting together in my pantry. I now realize that this is due to the stacking mechanism that prevents these pans from scuffing/scratching each other when the bottoms touch. The bottom of one pan does not touch the inside of the one it’s nesting in so it should prevent any damage. That said, I do already have a scuff mark in the non stick on one of the pans. I have no idea how this happened since it claims that you can use metal cookware, put in the dishwasher, etc. Despite me not ever putting them in the dish washer nor ever using metal cooking utensils, there is still a ding in the bottom of one pan. This doesn’t affect its use... as of yet. The only other drawback is that the stacking mechanism/bolts are slightly difficult to clean, especially if you’re a messy cook (I am). But a bit of a soak and they clean up well. Overall, I am delighted with these pans- heavy, attractive, and, darn it they’re just cool. I definitely recommend these skillets for any home cook.B

Fully Exceeded My Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out this product as I have two other Calphalon brand pans that I use all the time. I really liked both pans for multiple reasons. Number one the space saving storage aspect is a big thing for me. I don’t have a lot of cabinet space for pots and pans so being able to stack two pans and a lid in one spot is a big thing for me. The pans themselves also work great. Some other non-stick pans have often been an issue for me as I would need to use a lot of nonstick cooking spray on them and even still tough food items like cheese or eggs would still get stuck and make it harder to clean if not right away. These pans didn’t have this issue and no matter how long the cooking time took the handles never got hot so I could move the pans from burner to burner or the counter very easily. These pans are big enough to make things like pancakes and sauces but not too big to take up a lot of space on your stove where you wouldn’t be able to cook multiple things at once. I would totally purchased more of these space savings sets and seriously am considering giving a set as a gift to friends for a housewarming or wedding. Definitely a great product and my expectations were fully exceeded on use and functionality.

Heavy duty cookware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pans were heavy duty. They were actually nonstick . You could actually let eggs slide out without cooking spray. they cooked evenly. However they were a little heavier but that didn't bother me. They stacked nicely with the lid which is nice in a small kitchen.

Game Changer

Before this set, I was constantly rearranging the drawer that stores my pots, pans and coordinating lids. There has never been a convenient way to store kids until now. I love that they all stack neatly and lock into each other. The pans heated beautifully and the non stick surface is a life saver. Such a simple design change that is a game changer in the kitchen!

Wish it had rubber on the handles so you didn’t burn your hands when moving it but also understand it can’t and be oven safe. Overall really like it and recommend it.

Too heavy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not really like these pans! They are very heavy! They are made for a body builder! Ha! I don't think they are visually pleasing. I prefer stainless steel or one of those black scratch resistant pans. They work just about the same as any other pans I've used, but they are much heavier and don't look as nice! I don't think they are worth the price!
