Really cooks like gas

We're very Happy

We're very pleased with this range, we've been using it for about 2 months. 1st part: Induction cook top has exceeded our expectations. Excellent heat control from high searing to great low level heat control. Made some great paella browned rice without scorching it on stove top. Have seared meat in cast iron Dutch oven as well as stainless steel chef pans. Love the control knobs on this model instead of electronic controls. 2nd Part Convection oven is also consistent. Much quieter than our replaced convection oven. Broiler meets expectations. Noticed that oven ventilates off more heat than our older one did. Original oven temperature probe was bad. GE Service was great, shipped new one in less than a week. There's room for improvement on the Smart interface, e.g. You can see what the oven is set at and what your meat probe is set at but you don't see the temperature of your meat unless you look at the control panel. It would be nice to be able to turn off or reduce the cook top settings using Alexa. Example,when hearing the tea kettle go off be able to have Alexa turn off the burner. All in all we are very pleased with both the functionality and looks of this unit. Hope we get a long service life.

Love the features on this range!

I bought this range for my last house. I moved soon after. I bought the same range for my new home. Induction cooking is amazing! I no longer have the patience to wait for any other cooking mode. The oven is so so easy to use and bakes perfectly every time.

Intuitive to use

A week into our new range and it’s been great. We switched from gas and I’m so happy we did. My pot handles aren’t hot anymore, water boils so quickly, the temperature control is incredible. I had four burners going and wasn’t sweating. I spilled some spaghetti sauce, picked up the pot and wiped it off. Baked goods come out evenly browned and in the expected time. I didn’t think the smart features would be important to me, but hearing the oven timer on my watch allows me to get other things done while something is in the oven without worrying about missing the timer.

Awesome range in every way

We chose the Cafe induction range with warming drawer as part of our kitchen redo. The unit looks fantastic, so sleek and streamlined. The induction cooking is fantastic - quick boiling, even heat, plus having 5 burners is so great. Any size pan works! Oven bakes beautifully, (preheat is not particularly speedy, though) and love the warming drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Induction for the win

We moved from gas to this induction range and we are so pleased. We did quite a bit of research on which induction stove to choose and we are happy we picked this one. I love the look with the classic knobs and the size of the four burners. We had mostly cast iron and All-Clad pans so we were able to keep using them. So far induction has lived up to everything I hoped. The fast boil, broad range of temperatures, and easy to clean top are wonderful.

New is nice in 2023

Love how fast the food heats up on the burners. Best feature for us is the prop setting - - - used it many times since this past January. Like the knobs. Just using the steam clean cycle and hope it will work as explained in the manual. Very pleased so far with our purchase.

Not what I expected

I purchased this stove as an alternative to a gas range, The area I live in does not have gas. I think the coils could be better.. I find some of the cookware i purchase does not work on specific place on the stove top. I cannot use two medium size pans side by side. I also feel that their are hot spots which causes uneven cooking in the pan
