Great all-in-one!

This product is a quality design and well constructed kitchen appliance. You get the best of both worlds—- a gas range top, electric oven, and a warming drawer. My wife and I have no idea how we’ve lived all these years without a warming drawer! It has three settings that accommodate all situations. The range burners are of different strength and so will also accommodate any of your cooking needs.

Some great features..and some challenges

The GE Cafe Series has some really wonderful features. We love the six burners, the built in griddle and the warming oven. Some of the challenges are that the cooling fan in the back is a bit noisy, the oven "clicks" while maintaining temperature and there is not a light in the front to indicate the burners are on. The challenges are manageable and we still love the range, but good to know before purchase.

Better than I expected

I love the looks of this stove. I love the features (6 burners), I love the large readout on the screen, I love the high and low BTU's very convenient. It has one full extension oven rack ...they should all be full extension. What this stove does not have is why I only gave it a 4 star review. It does not have a safety light to alert you that you left a burner or the oven on. It does not have a light behind the control screen so that you are hard pressed to see which button you should push to turn on the desired function. This would have made it a perfect stove.

Fantastic range!

I love almost everything about this range! First, the cok top: Please note I have this range hooked up to propane because natural gas is not available where I live. The range came with the propane conversion hardware (orafaces) included, which was nice. No extra parts to buy. Propane tanks and hook ups are extra; consult your local propane company. Due to the use of propane in my situation I feel the burners are very hot. Even low can be too much heat on the smaller burners sometimes. I have owned numerous natural gas fueled ranges and none have put our so much heat. I have used many commercial ranges and even they have a better high:low ratio. From hi to 3 is too hot; the sweet spot is 3 to low (1) and the controls at that low are touchy. 1.4 might be perfect but a touch higher at 2.2 will burn the pan. Nevermind the other 80% you have. The griddle is fantastic but don’t turn it over 2. The cook top is very easy to clean. Part two, the oven: The oven is electric seems to do fine. The convection is great, the shelves are sturdy and well built. Haven’t used the warming tray and probably never will. The broiler heats quickly and works very well. Part three, controls: The knobs are big and easy to use. Most other ranges have plastic surfaces with buttons that wear with time. This ranges controls are behind glass and will never wear out or melt. Assuming that the electronics inside never fail. There are numerous options for oven operations. The probe thermometer precisely cooks roasts to your desired temperature and then turns off the oven. It’s Wifi enabled and will text you when it’s preheated, the timer is up, or your roast is done. All in all it’s a great range, but I’m afraid the propane just burns too hot. I have owned and used this range for two months.

"computer board" had to be replaced within 3 month
on June 19, 2019

Sitting here without our oven for a week so far, and at least another one waiting on a new computer board. We chose this one from our builders choices because it was the 'high end' option and we did not expect it would break down within 3 months. Choices below ask why we chose it and where purchased. I had to choose something but neither option fitted our situation: It was offered as the 'high end' option for a new house, and we only had a choice between 2 ovens.
