smooth operator so far

This was a 2018 Christmas present to ourselves. It replaced our original electric stove/oven of 10 yrs. with this. We use it everyday. Gas burners are smooth operating and have a great range of power. The middle skillet is handy for making breakfast such as pancakes/bacon/eggs , but also for heating up tortillas for tacos. The oven is large, nice racks, one that actually extends out for easy removal of ,say a pot roast or turkey. We did find that the oven was about 50 degrees cooler then the oven setting, so if we set the oven for 400 degrees it was about 350. We confirmed this with two separate thermometers. I found in the owners manual that I could adjust the temp up or down by 35 degrees. I just tried this and haven't used it yet since the change so time will tell if it resolved this issue. Other then that this unit has performed well. I hope we get many years of service from it.

I cook a lot and this range is the best. Cooking dinner for 30 was a snap. Warming drawer is wonderful. I used the oven, cooktop and warming drawer at the same time and dinner was perfect.

Love all burners

Having 6 burners works for me! As does the simmer burner, the griddle (with two separate burners) and the large burner. The role oven rack works great. The oven heat is right and even! The stainless steel cleans easily. Great product.

Well worth the very high price

I got the Dual Fuel version of this range. You can not buy a better 30" range than this Café range. The gas control on the burners is excellent, easy to make minor temperature changes. The "big burner" boils water or heats frying oil super fast. lowest burner settings are awesome as well. The oven disperses heat very consistently, breads and cookies come out great. Also, the stainless steel drip pan area is way easier than black enamel to keep clean. And while I never thought I would use the smart oven ap, I love how it sends an alert to your phone when its done preheating. Its a huge help when you are outside grilling or watching the news to know when your oven is ready without having to keep checking. The griddle is easy to clean. Also another feature I didn't really care much about. I had the smaller style griddle on my GE range at my last house, I never used it because it was too small, I just used my cast iron griddle that you put on top the burners. The only criticism I have about the griddle is that it doesn't have a grill marks side, so I still have to use my cast iron griddle for indoor grilling. I looked at just about ever range on the market before choosing this one. Its very well built, doesn't feel cheap like a lot of ranges on the market. It really is worth the premium price. It might cost a bit more, but the quality and features make it the best value available.

Our criteria for a new stove was dual fuel (gas top/electric oven), slide-in, warming drawer, and stainless steel. This was one of the very few that checked all those boxes. Good looking and seems to be working well (have only had a couple of months). There was a potent "new oven smell" from the first use (less so thereafter) that made us feel ill until the house aired out. The stainless top scratches very easily, so go easy with it. I wish the cast iron skillet-top that it came with (middle section if not using grates) was reversible (an added option to get a grill skillet on reverse side) - it wouldn't have cost much to include this. The phone app is nice, though needs some more development (e.g. alerts for when oven is done preheating). Time will tell if we stay as pleased as we are now, which is overall very pleased.
