It's impossible to clean, the grates weigh too much and the burners only have two settings, extremely high and low.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your range, as it certainly helps us work towards improvements in the future. Regarding the burner strength, we recommend choosing the higher BTU burners for tasks such as boiling water and the smaller BTU burners for tasks such as simmering. This is the first range I've had in my home in over 32 years, after switching away from a cook top and separate ovens. I am so impressed to have such a large baking area for the oven- it may be able to accommodate more baked goods than my double ovens from the past. The temperature is true and bakes items beautifully; I like having the option to bake with convection and am very happy to have the proofing feature as well. We purchased the range with oven controls in the backsplash. I welcome that which prevents inadvertent change to the oven setting by young children or brushing up against the controls to the front of the range. The range burners vary in temperature, which allows for options to use very low heat or very high heat when desired. Having the griddle in the middle is very handy- I thought I might like to replace it with the large 5th burner grate, but so far am not sure I need that. We've used the griddle as much as any of the burners. Clean up for spills on both the range top and inside the oven has been easy to manage, in order to keep the range looking as good as new, in spite of heavy use. I suppose a down side might be the weight of the separate burners and griddle. It could be dangerous if someone cleaning the range would mishandle any of them, dropping one on the floor or their feet. But, since I am familiar with cast iron items, I understand the importance of taking care when moving them. And the fact that they are created with cast iron gives me confidence that they will maintain their clean look and integrity for all the years I plan to cook.

Great look, super stainless top that cleans easily. Continuous grates with center griddle option is super versatile. Love the smart features that alert me when the oven reaches temp or the timer is done.
I bought this new stove from someone who had moved it out of a new home they purchased but wanted to use their own appliances. Seen pictures and read everything I could find on internet. My husband went and purchased it for me. I personally feel like the grates are extremely heavy and don’t care for both big burners on the front. The controls for oven and clock are very easily wiped over and have to be reset. Guess it’s more stove than I really need. Do love cooking and baking on it. Just find it hard to keep clean with heavy grates having to be moved each time.
I have purchased 2 new refrigerators, a washer, a dryer and finally a gas range. They have ALL failed me except for the gas range from Café. I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase, I would highly recommend and will be buying more Café appliances in the future.
