Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have installed our cooktop recently and we really love it. We also like the Speed Boost function which heats the food and water quickly. One of the best purchases we have made. Highly recommend!

First induction cooktop pros and cons

First induction cooktop purchase so only able to compare with previous Bosch 36" electric cooktop.
Pros: sleek design, easy to clean, aluminum guards protect edges, smaller pots/pans heat quickly, nice timer features, bridge elements a plus
Cons: Clicking element noise initially increases/decreases with increase/decrease in temperature selection, 10-11 minutes to boil water in large pot, unable to use smaller pot/pan on largest burner. Wi-Fi feature does not seem necessary except for remote troubleshooting if needed by technician.

I love it except for a couple of glitches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I've been very pleased with the cooktop; it's great to be able to know EXACTLY how long rice (for example) will take to cook and not to have to babysit it. That said, I have run into a few glitches:
The cooktop has turned itself off during cooking at least once; it's also thrown an error on the left elements but I was able to finish cooking on the right ones before going out to the breaker box, turning power off for 30 seconds, and restarting the oven (after which it worked).
I've learned NOT to put a sheetpan on unused elements - the cooktop starts beeping and turns itself off after a few seconds.
The iOS app is basically useless.
The actual cooking experience deserves 5 stars, but I've taken one star away for the occasional weird behavior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this cooktop. I love the induction heat. One minor thing is the top gets a lot warmer than my old stove did. But I would buy this cooktop again in a heartbeat.

Induction cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm new to induction cooking but find the Bosch cooktop to be easy to transition to from gas. I expect that it would be equally easy for electric users. The operation is fairly straight forward and makes meal prep enjoyable. We love the ease of clean up and look forward to years of great cooking experience.

Great Bosch DW. No repairs, extremely quiet and cleans our dishes! I would recommend buying the warranty which includes an annual check-up. Worth every cent!
