really awesome camera cube that was too big for me

I want to start off by saying that this cube deserves 5 stars. I absolutely love its design and how you can change the configuration inside to fit your needs. It feels and looks extremely well made and durable. I had bought it for a month long upcoming trip to Sicily and thought it would fit in my 42L Cotopaxi travel bag. Unfortunately for me it's just ever so slightly too large. It fits but I really have to squeeze it in and it makes the pack quite uncomfortable, I have a Fuji XT4, one zoom lens, and one wide angle prime lens and even the small is just a little too roomy for my gear. Length wise the small was perfect to accommodate everything and works in my bag. The height, however, is just a little too much. I'd say there is several inches of open space above my camera and lenses that would have just been wasted space that I can't afford in my backpack. Sadly I'll be returning it. My guess is this would fit great in Peak Design's 45L travel bag. Regardless, this is an awesome cube and I'd recommend it if you can fit it in to your travel gear.

Bought the medium camera cube to pair with my PD 45L Travel Backpack and I LOVE IT. It's very versatile with all the ways to change the inserts and I love the option of having a backpack that can either just be a backpack, and then turn into a protective and functional camera bag when I insert the camera cube. Also works very well to just store my camera gear between jobs. Great product and high quality!

Straightforward

A few weeks ago I bought my second cube. I have two of the big ones know and the hold all my gear - including three bodies and a lens as big as a 500mm. To be able to configure the inside to literally any layout you want is great, adding a few anchor links and a strap is simple and makes it easy to carry. I’d love to give 4,5 stars cause really the only thing I’d wish for them to have is more dust proof zippers/zippers you can close all the way without the remaining little space at the end. Overall, definitely recommend.

I bought this Medium Camera cube and the Peak Design Travel Backpack. The camera cube is outstanding. It fit’s securely in the backpack and is accessible from the side. It holds all of my essential gear and if I don’t need the backpack, it doubles as a stand alone case.

Hands down best camera cube

Easy access to your gear, zippers are fantastic they don’t get stuck on the corners.
The cubes are DEEP. Compared to a few other I have tried, these cubes are deep. Why do I mention this you say. I can stand up every lens I have including my RF 100 2.8 macro (tall lens) I can also stand up a tamron 24-70 2.8 g2 with the adapter attached.
I have a medium and a large that I use depending on what I’m packing out. The medium holds A LOT of gear, usually more that I want to hike around with. It’s so big that I can actually fit a Tamron 150-600 even with the ginormous lens hood, r6 with a lens attached and 2 or 3 other lenses.
One more strong point. The dividers stay put, they don’t flop around. They are also skinny so they don’t take up much space. There are also some shelf dividers that community handy for misc small items, or I can stack a nifty 50 and a teleconverter or adapter etc.

The only downside to this and it’s not a big issue. The clips to attach this to a peak bag are a little finicky. They have a spring loaded metal piece that often snaps back when I don’t want it to making it frustrating to clip the cube in.

THE photo/video packing essential!

I love staying organized, and this camera cube is one of the top camera cubes I've seen. The build quality is top notch and the design just works. I love how it enables me to organize my camera gear and transfer is to a wide variety of bags for everyday use and airline travel in a checked bag.

I was hesitant to buy this based on the price, but it’s really great quality. I like that the dividers can be moved around. Fits well in my Peak Design backpack
