Sturdy and well designed

I thought it would be the usual flimsy padding. I was wrong and what a surprise when I put my lenses in the medium camera cube. The dividers are strong while having enough padding to hold up the shape of the cube. The dense padding without large amounts of unnecessary padding make it protective without taking up too much space for the padding. I was skeptical but then after seeing the quality and design I ordered the large camera cube as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First PD purchase - so far very impressed

I have been looking at the Peak Design products for a while now as well as watching many demos and reviews. I bought my first PD product (large camera cube) to check out the product quality; really impressed so far. The dividers (especially the shelf divider) are well designed. Zippers form and function are perfect. The function of a camera cube is great for quick access to lots of gear at once instead of going through many smaller bags or compartments. I really like the way their product is thought out to allow it to work with their other products to create a packing system, very nice! I will be buying more PD products in the future.

Great cube!

I purchased the small cube to actually put in my carry on luggage! I recently within the last year had surgery and treatments for Breast Cancer and am not supposed to carry a lot over the shoulder so I was looking for a cube that could be packed. I am now able to bring my mirrorless and two lenses, one attached and one zoom, as well as batteries and extra cards on my vacation. Thank you for such a great product!

I was looking for a compact way to travel with a light kit for my camera. This fit perfect in the bottom of my carry on bag on the plane. Fit under the seat. Great design for my micro 4/3 mirrorless camera with 2 lenses, 2 back up batteries and charger, SD card holder, micro fiber cloth, +. And that is with the small cube!

Regular camera bag / backpack. Put your gear in this cube and then place it in your suitcase or conventional travel backpack or tote.

Great cube but missing a few features

I bought the large size cube because I needed something that would fit a large telephoto lens, as well as a mirrorless camera body and other, smaller lenses, and various other items. Overall, the cube is well designed, but there are definitely a few issues.
The first issue is that, although the cube is large enough to fit the lens, they do not make dividers that are long enough to span the longest length of the bag. You have to stick together a number of the smaller dividers to span the space. It works OK but is kind of a pain, especially if you’re rearranging the layout.
The other issue is that peak design does not sell a shoulder strap for the bag. The only way to add a shoulder strap is to repurpose one of their camera straps as a shoulder strap. That would work fine for a smaller bag or lighter gear, but for those of us who shoot with heavy lenses, the camera strap does not offer enough padding to be comfortably worn. Their camera straps are also designed to slide around, which is not ideal for a heavily laden bag.
I own a peak design tote, which comes with a shoulder strap. At the moment, I am using that strap with the bag, but it looks silly because it’s in the gold color. I confirmed with customer support that they do not sell the shoulder straps separately, so at the moment that’s the solution I’m stuck with. I’m going to keep using the cube, because it is hard to find well designed cubes this large, but I do hope they make some improvements in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a small camera cube to fit inside my old leather sling bag. Now, I can use my leather bag as my main camera bag during some formal-ish shoot. The small cube fits my XT5 with XF16-55 f2.8 and XH2 with XF33 f1.4.
