The strap on this lock is too short.

The strap is too short! Did the engineers take into account that there might be a door handle attached to the refrigerator door and it's difficult to unlatch the lock with a handle in the way?

Disregard my previous review. It was my 'operator' error. I look at the pic to install instead of applying my critical thinking skills. Just put the push button release on the side of the fridge....problem solved. My bad. It's a great product

Good idea, but doesn't outsmart my 3 year old!

I got this product thinking that maybe, just mAybe it would finally be able to keep my daughter from constantly getting in the refrigerator. I have tried so many different kinds.... I put this on my fridge, without her in the room, and the little turf came right in and opened the fridge in 2 seconds! She got it to unlock, and the adhesive on the pad gave way immediately. I am so disappointed!

Great for securing the fridge

Bought this for when my grandchildren come over. They used to constantly try to get into the fridge. This stopped that altogether. Now, they don't even bother trying to open it because the know they can't. It is easy to open for an adult, but not for the kids. A simple safe solution! want to put one on the dishwasher next.

It's a great product

It's a great product but not for my 5 year old with prader-willi syndrome he just pulled and pulled on it and adhesive just gave I had it on the fridge so he won't get in it because that's his condition he gets food from anywhere so decided to try this one it was good it lasted like for one month well almost a month but it was so good I just didn't buy anymore because he kept breaking them so if you fixed it he Civ on it like make them stronger I will buy tons of it cuz I need to get my son out of the fridge and my cupboards and everything where I have food . I'm so desperate and finding something that will work for my child he has an obsessive food consumption and I'm desperate and trying to get control of it because he just five years old and already weighing 86lb it's hard very hard so please make something with a stronger adhesive or something completely new that will stay strong and stay put even if they pull and yank and everything thank you very much but I do love your product I still have them anyways I have to be buying them every month or so to replace them

The Outsmart Mulit-Use Lock works great! I purchased the first one to keep the kids out of the knife drawer but it worked so well I bought more for other drawers. The decoy button is a nifty feature that really outsmarts little ones. Very easy to install and affordable, I highly recommend this product!

My 19 month old figured it out!

We put this device on our dishwasher so my 19 month old would stop opening it up and crawling up on it. She walked over to it and unlocked it like it was nothing.

one of the parents home that I work at had this product on her refrigerator for the child that I work with...I told her what a great idea, I went out and bought 2 packages for my home, to use on my refrigerator and freezer.
