The phone is good, great cameras, nice display, but with the last updates the bluetooth has gone crazy when I'm on the move. It has a life of its own and decides when to connect and disconnect from the car stereo or the hands free. It's so bad that I'm thinking about changing it. The worst, ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coming from the S10...and very happy with that choice. Simple straight to the point design. Plenty of power for gaming. And a camera experience that is second to none... Except maybe on other LG devices. The display is beautiful and NOT over saturated like most other brands. It gives me the true to life colors that i want. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE V50!

Overall the phone is good however, the messaging cannot upload pictures coming from other people.
Basically I'm happy what I got. But it had very bad Bluetooth connection with phone call, now it fixed. Only draw back is I cannot use it as hit spot because it lacks option.

I got this from my sister in NY as a gift, and my mom brought it to Canada. I love it! Too bad that LCD screen chipped after a bad fall. Since it was bought in the U.S, it can only be serviced in the U.S. It's still useable, though.
LG makes an incredible phone, but I do have a few gripes. The backplate is too smooth allowing the phone to slide off almost every surface. Due to the Sprint services and software, you will need to use ADB to remove the carrier registration message and Sprint services.
Otherwise, the phone is beautiful, but unfortunately, it'll be more difficult to repair due to the plates being glued together instead of hooked on.
