Looks great, quiet and well lite

We needed a new under the counter fridge and decided this time to get the drawer version. It is wonderful. It is quiet and very convenient. We went ahead and changed out the large fridge and purchased the French door double oven, by GE Cafe. We get so many compliments on all three.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Product

We like the product very much. One caveat, sometimes the top drawer does not close completely resulting in significant condensation to accumulate in the drawer.

Perhaps my favorite appliance

I bought this drawer fridge to supplement the counter depth fridge in my new kitchen. I am pleased with the amount of space in this appliance! It is fantastic for holding milk, juice, beer, pop, and snacks that frees up much space in the main fridge. The drawers are soft close and very easy to open and close. Smooth! The only thing I’m not thrilled about is that it cycles fairly often and is not noisy but not silent either. Fits beautifully in a 25” opening under the countertops without any necessary trim kit. Easy install…great operation, and ample space. Nice buy!!

Uneven Drawers

I have 2 new undercounted drawer refrigerators. From day one both refrigerators have uneven drawers that do not close properly. The seals do not close tightly and causes daily ice build up in the back of the fridge. The misalignment doesn’t trigger the open drawer alarm so it’s impossible to know when the fridges are closed improperly. Fridges are 2 months old.

This is a beautiful model with soft-close drawers, and adjustable drawer dividers. The drawers can also accommodate heavy and tall items too. Each drawer is designed to hold up to 88.2 lbs. The upper drawer hold items up to 12"H. The lower drawer has a step in the drawer, so you can also put 12"H items in it, but only in the front section.

Please take a look at page 13 in your manual to view how to properly level your refrigerator drawers.

Looks great but beware of leaking water

We've had this fridge for almost two years and use it every day. It looks great, the drawers work well and we get a lot of compliments on it. However, there have been a few times where it wouldn't stay cold enough. During a service call the technician said that the temperature sensor had been installed incorrectly at the factory. He adjusted and it seems better most of the time. He also noted that there is no fan in these units to circulate the air so temperatures can be spotty within the unit. The biggest concern and inconvenience is that the unit accummulates ice on the rear panel and ledge and occassionally that ice melts and water runs out of the unit onto the floor. In our case this isn't disasterous because we have a tile floor but if this were installed on wood, LVT or carpet it would be a big problem.

Loved it until the ice storm

I noticed a puddle of water on the floor and after searching i find the back of the unit iced over. I looked online reviews and I see many other people are having the same issues. What is happening GE? This unit was not cheap and while we absolutely love our café set but this needs to be addressed.

Started beeping like door was open but wasn’t. Gaskets are good. Finally just turned off and control panel screen went dead. Just over 3 years old.

Keeps Beeping

The product is 2.5 years old. I have had a repair person out 2 time to fix a beeping noise. Every time they charge me a service charge to fix the same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since your appliance is no longer under warranty, it is protocol to have to pay for service each time a technician comes to your home despite the issue at hand.
