Great piece of garbage from HP

I have consistently bought HP printers for many years that have been fine. This printer is utter rubbish. Paper tray holds too little. Doesn't detect paper when present - empty tray comes up. Manual reload of paper for double-sided not easy and frequently jams. Why not make something that actually does the job it is supposed to. Used it for a month and nothing but trouble so going in the bin.
I bought the printer to work with our two family computers in different areas of the house. Initial set up was straightforward as I have some knowledge of these things. Using the Printer is a pleasure. It is quiet quick enough for our needs (small print runs and copying documents) The quality of print is very good and gives a perfect copy of the original. Very pleased to have chosen this model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to replace my 15-year old HP scanner thanks to the latest Windows update and been wanting a colour laser printer for a while so killed two birds with one stone. Scanning and printing works fine (using 80gm HP Paper) so expect the copy feature to work OK as well though I haven't actually tried it yet. A more comprehensive instruction manual (in English only) would have been helpful but I figured it out in the end. Don't seem to be able to connect via network cable AND wireless but this may be deliberate as you don't really need both I suppose. All-in-all very satisfied with my purchase.

Very good and versatile printer. Very good quality printout. As with all printers, expensive consumables
Printing is very clear. Manual turning of pages for both side printing is unacceptable.

I wanted a printer that prints both sides automatically, without having to place the paper in the paper tray whe it prints one side. Not what I expected from HP manual feeding in this day and age is impossible. Totally not happy when I need to print both sides of the paper.
