Love My Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bosch induction cooktop. I have cooked with gas for many, many years and was a little nervous about switching to induction in our new home. However, I've found the cooktop to be easy to use, extremely precise with temperature, and cleanup is a breeze. I cook on it almost every day and would highly recommend this cooktop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We researched induction cooktops (benefits, etc.) and we came to th Bosch 800 series. We absolutely love it. Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new 36" 8669 series induction cooktop is a wonder. It's controls are more intuitive than other induction units I've seen. It heats up the stainless steel or cast iron pans very quickly wnen needed. On the other hand, it has a lot of low heat options for simmering. 2 of the 5 elements even allow you to maintain the pan at a constant temperature. Efficiency is very high and the power only requires 40 amps rather than the more common 50-55 amps. There are some bluetooth features for controlling hood lights and hood fan that are of no use to us. Controlling the cooktop from your iphone also seems to be a solution looking for a problem. Using this induction cooktop rather than our old gas cooktop is better for indoor air quality and better for long term climate change. Even the cleaning is easier than our old gas unit. What could be better?!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the cooktop for the past 3 months and so far so good. I love the feature where you can set a timer and change the heat level automatically. I use the home connect app to check on the timers and use the phone notfication when the timer goes off. The only thing I noticed is that when I use the boil mode, the cooktop makes a noise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second induction cooktop we have ever owned and the Bosch provides so much more value than the previous brand we owned. It has automatic sensors that turn on the cooking zone(s) of which the pot sits on when you turn the system on. If you have a large griddle or pot, it will automatically turn on multiple cooking zones. What makes the Bosch even better than our previous cooktop is the fact that each zone has its own shutoff timer. So say you want to steam carrots for twenty minutes, you can set it and forget it to concentrate on other aspects of the meal. Once twenty minutes is up, it shuts off automatically with perfectly cooked food. Similarly you can set another zone to Auto Chef cook so the food will not burn. (Our previous induction cooktop just beeped at you and could only manage one timer) The controls are very easy to use and have the right amount of heat to either melt chocolate without a double boiler or boil a pot of water in under a minute. Very well made and well designed. So glad we spent a little more to get the Bosch and not go with the less expensive induction cooktops as it is well worth the small amount added on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart cook top boils water in less than 45 seconds. Yes, you need the right cookware (steel) however then you has this magnificent machine, of course you need the right cookware. LOVE!!!
