[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new induction cooktop. It looks great. It controls the temperatures well. It is responsive. It is easy to use. I also love the built in technology designed for safety. I highly recommend this product and understand why Consummer Reports rates it so highly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size, design, and functionality of this cooktop is outstanding. I use it multiple times a day and the power boost especially is fantastic. One thing that I obviously missed prior to purchasing the cooktop was that only induction compatible cookware could be used. I had two sets of very expensive older cookware which I had to find a new home for as none of it would work. I'm sure this is information others may not be aware of either so would highlight/bold print this information in your ads in the future.
It breaks down the more you use it. My parents had it for 2 years and it can't even handle any heat higher then 6 without going back to 1 and making an annoying sound that you can't even stop. Can't even start cooking onions :p Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Induction hands down out performs all other cooktops. This wi-fi enabled cooktop lets you set cook times and turn your attention elsewhere. The HomeConnect features will send a notification to your smartphone confirming your program was followed (such as shut off). Keep warm does just that without affecting quality of food. A huge stock pot of pasta water on "boost" heats in just a few minutes. Finally it's a snap to clean up. I have the 36" cooktop which provides generous burner space for all sizes of cookware. Trust me, this cooktop is way more responsive than gas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 8669 induction is beautiful looking and has impressive performance. Most people have heard about how fast water boils (great dinner party demo) but there are so many other benefits. Unlike gas, there isn’t heat around the sides of a pot—which is unpleasant on a hot summer day. The cooking area stays cool. I was surprised how many of my existing cookware works on induction. I am still learning how to regulate the temperature and how to use the many features. But, so far, I am sold and delighted that I moved to the Bosch induction.
