Experienced inconsistent readings, Omron 7 wrist model, due to the distance requirements from a sitting position to a table top. If the distance from seat top to table top is not 12" per instructions the readings will most likely vary significantly.
After speaking with my Dr. he suggested using a traditional upper left arm model for more accurate readings. Ordered the Omron series 5 and readings are now consistent and accurate. Unfortunately to my dismay customer service would not provide any credit for the wrist model towards the series 5 model. My fault as too much time passed even though I was not using the wrist unit as it was unreliable. Definitely disappointed since I purchased directly from Omron customer service and they stated all units are accurate with no mention about the 12" distance requirement for accurate readings. Omron 5 is easy to use from any sitting position so I no longer need a ruler while traveling?

I got this Omron Blood Pressure Monitor as part of a Blue Shield Health Awareness Campaign. I use it twice per week to make sure my blood pressure is not peaking again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this with the smaller cuff for myself and the larger cuff for my taller family member. Easy to use. I have been using Omron monitors for decades and they have always been sturdy, easy to use, and pretty accurate. No automatic monitor that I know of is extremely accurate, so I use a stethoscope with all arm monitors including this one.
