I bought this recently; the Omron Series 5 was recommended by my doctor to monitor elevated blood pressure (I am 67 yrs old). Device is easy to use, has good features, and is battery operated to boot. Very pleased with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I received this BP monitor & arm cuff, I have been able to keep track of my blood pressure on a daily basis. This helps me understand better the effects of food, activity & medications on my blood pressure. My doctor even gave me tips on using the monitor and suggested I try using the BP readings at different times of the day, before or after meals and before or after medications, so I can see how each reading may be impacted by those activities. This is a great tool in understanding blood pressure and how to help control it.

Great way to keep a record

I bought this unit a few months back, because i use Microsoft Healthvault for tracking my personal health record. This is the easiest way I have ever had of tracking blood pressure. It records Both mine and my wife's and once a month I do a bulk upload to Healthvault. Then I print a list for the doctor when I visit. I love the ease and my doctor loves the accurate record.

Runs with all of my systems by bluetooth/wireless

The Omron 7 BP Monitor surpasses what I thought it could do, I take a reading and then Bluetooth it to my phone which sends it to a Cloud I think where it is available for my Windows PC. Its so easy, fast and efficient. Next great feature is the output pages, view able by phone/PC/or print out. Or I can just show my Doctor the on screen readings/graphs on my tablet. Bottom line WOW
